Multiple Ship Collision Risk-Based Ship Collision Prevention/Analysis System Leading the e-Navigation Era
The ship collision prevention/analysis/rendering system assesses the risk of collision among multiple ships in real time by using data from various sensors (AIS, RADAR, ECDIS, etc.) and provides the information to the ship operators so as to prevent collision. It is also used to reenact ship collisions in order to analyze the cause of the collision and provide related training to prevent recurrences.
At GDL System, we are striving to play a leading role in the ship ICT area, based on our capabilities and experience in the ICT and maritime sectors, in preparation for the e-Navigation era being promoted by the United Nations International Maritime Organization (IMO).
The real-time ship collision prevention system serves to prevent ship collisions by providing information on the risk of collision among multiple ships by installing hardware and software in ships and vessel traffic service (VTS) stations.
In the event of a ship collision, the ship collision analysis system reenacts the accident using various data obtained at the time of collision and analyzes the cause of collision and the possibility of avoidance through 2D/3D visualization and the use of various simulator functions.
The ship collision avoidance education/training system displays 2D/3D (3~5 channels) images of an actual collision based on the field data and provides ship collisionrenderingand avoidance simulation functions for field-oriented education/training that is highly realistic.
